The PBFA Tax senior associate role requires a finance professional offering support to the MENA Tax PBFA Lead on P&L management and other KPIs. The role will establish best in class support, functional expertise and reporting solutions, with occasional involvement on various Service Line initiatives as well.

Your key responsibilities:

Produce weekly and monthly reporting on business performance. P&L review and data quality checks. Actual vs Plan tracking on the P&L elements to identify and highlight variances. Assist the PBFA Tax Lead in the root cause analysis of identified variances and identification of possible solutions to resolve issues. Assist in developing financial models for different scenarios to assess impacts of changing levers. Take ownership of regular variance analysis to present to leadership. With time, develop effective working relationships with the extended Finance team, Tax operations and Tax leadership team. Participate in various improvement initiatives and information gathering activities within PBFA space. Support in Adhoc requests from the Finance team and MENA Tax Leadership team under PBFA Tax Lead's leadership. Skills and attributes for success:

To qualify for the role you must be:

2-3 years of relevant work experience. Either have a finance related degree or be studying for an accountancy qualification. Willing to working in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic. Able to interact well with people at all levels within the firm and build strong relationships. Having strong knowledge of MS Office Packages. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word in particular. Working knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tool is a plus. Having excellent communications and organizational skills. Be innovative, confident and creative with ability to challenge.
