Job Purpose: To initiate, organize and carry out the Planning & Career Development activities including the development programs for UAE national employees as well as assist in the review of systems, procedures and guidelines related to career development and performance appraisal system in order to meet ENEC learning objectives and Emiratization strategy. Activity: Career Planning
Laise with direct supervisor concerned in designing individual development plans for all employees up to Head of section level and for UAE national employees with no experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the target position.
Guide direct supervisor concerned and employees on how to prepare individual development plans.
Design individual development plan forms in order to set structured plan for employees\xe2\x80\x99 development.
Design progression forms and attend quarterly progression assessment of UAE national employees under development as required in order to evaluate direct supervisor concerned and observe the assessment.
Review performance appraisal reports of UAE national employees under development to highlight difficulties and recommendations by direct supervisors such as training needs stated, monitor the progress, identify weaknesses and discuss them with direct supervisor and the employee to find remedies.
Coordinate and follow-up the implementation of individual development plan through periodic appraisal reports, meetings with direct supervisors and the employee.
Evaluate training requests & ascertain they are in line with the approved individual development plans, discuss it with the direct supervisor concerned and training department and provide recommendations.
Conduct awareness session on how to prepare an individual development plan for the employees.
Carry out counseling sessions as and when needed with the employees to clarify matters, collect information, provide advice with a view to enhancing their progress and performance within their respective departments.
Activity: Performance Appraisal System
Handle the cases of poor performance employees who did not pass their probation period and provide Head of Career Planning with solution.
Analyze appraisal ratings of ENEC employees and provide Head of Career Planning with summary of findings.
Ensure that the appraisal ratings records are accurately entered by the Career Planner and communicate the ratings to Compensation & Policy section in order to work on pay for performance rewards.
Benchmark best practices and improve performance appraisal system and forms.
Prepare questionnaires that would evaluate the effectiveness of the Performance Appraisal Process, analyze survey results and provide findings to Head of Career Planning.
Assist with conducting employee performance management awareness session to promote understanding and cultivate the culture of learning with ENEC.
Activity: Administration of ENEC Assessment Services
Support in the arrangement with the external assessment center when needed the assessment and testing of new candidates, scholarship students for selection purpose and/or employees for development purpose as and when required.
Activity: Administration of Part Time Study Program
Evaluate employee request for part time study particularly to verify if proposed field of study is in line with ENEC\xe2\x80\x99s needs and priorities, and in line with the employee\xe2\x80\x99s position and development program
Prepare the part time study contract for the employees who got approval for their request
Review the academic performance of the employees, GPA and highlight issues to Head of Career Planning.
Activity: Stakeholder Engagement
Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships.
Activity: HSE, Security & Continuity of Operation
Follow all relevant company\xe2\x80\x99s HSE policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure HSE compliance in all aspects of work in accordance with sound management practices by applying these HSE policies and procedures to self and others to take reasonable care for the health and safety of people, or the environment, who are at the employee\'s place of work who may be affected by the employees acts or omissions at work.
Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and corporate assets.
Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission-critical activities.
