Tailor Workshop Manager| Abu Dhabi UAE

Private Royal Palace - United Arab Emirates
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Tailor Workshop Manager ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the palace tailoring department, overseeing the production of high-quality garments designed to meet the Royal Familyu0027s exacting standards. The role involves managing the tailoring team, maintaining a well-organized workflow, and ensuring that all garments reflect the latest fashion trends while aligning with the Royal Familyu0027s preferences and protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
Bacheloru0027s Degree in Fashion Designing
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in a tailoring, fashion design, or workshop management role, preferably in luxury or bespoke garment production.
Proven leadership experience supervising tailors or seamstresses in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Excellent working knowledge of fabrics, trims, sewing machines, and tailoring tools.
Ability to draft, refine, and transform garment designs from concept to final delivery.
Versatile communication skills for liaising with clients and team members; Arabic language an advantage.
Comprehensive knowledge of garment fitting, alterations, and finishing techniques.
Up-to-date understanding of global fashion trends, styles, and materials.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
Proactive problem-solver capable of managing deadlines and preventing recurring issues.
Professional presentation, discretion, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural royal household.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design garments and materials for various occasions based on Royal Family requirements, providing expert recommendations on fabrics, colors, and styles.
Address measurement and fitting concerns promptly and professionally.
Create or modify patterns, using manual or computer-aided tools.
Supervise the tailoring team in the design, production, and alteration of garments.
Ensure tailoring standards align with the Royal Familyu0027s preferences and are delivered with precision and care.
Oversee timelines, quality, and workflow of all projects within the workshop.
Monitor and maintain workshop machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Stay informed about international fashion trends and adjust production strategies accordingly.
Take preventive measures to avoid quality or operational issues.
Organize and maintain stock of fabrics, trims, and materials.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the Line Manager.
SALARY
AED 13,000 per month + cell phone allowance AED 300
