Job Description
: As a Tailor, you will be an essential member of our team, responsible for crafting garments that meet our customers\xe2\x80\x99 specifications and quality standards. Your expertise in garment construction, alterations, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our tailoring services. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform garment alterations, including hemming, tapering, resizing, and repairs, to meet customer specifications.
- Consult with customers to understand their preferences, take accurate measurements, and provide expert advice on garment fitting and design.
- Cut, assemble, and sew garments according to patterns and customer preferences.
- Ensure the quality of finished garments by paying close attention to stitching, seams, and overall construction.
- Collaborate with the design team to interpret and execute custom designs and alterations.
- Keep accurate records of customer measurements, alterations, and preferences.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines and other tailoring tools and equipment.
- Stay current on fashion trends, garment construction techniques, and industry developments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the final product.
- Proven experience as a Tailor or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in garment alterations, sewing, and pattern-making.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in garment finishing.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in the use and maintenance of sewing machines and tailoring tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
