Job Description
: As a Cook, you will be an essential member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and presenting mouthwatering dishes to our guests. Your culinary skills, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering a memorable dining experience are key to our success. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in food preparation.
- Work in collaboration with the kitchen team to plan and execute the daily menu.
- Handle food preparation, including chopping, grilling, frying, roasting, and baking.
- Plate dishes attractively and ensure they meet presentation guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following sanitation and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to address any dietary restrictions or special requests from guests.
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or culinary setting.
- Culinary degree or diploma is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy pots, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
