We are seeking a skilled and experienced Testing & Balancing Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with HVAC testing, balancing & commissioning activities ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations are tested and commissioned to meet project specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform commissioning activities for MEP systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and ELV.
Conduct testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Verify and validate the installation and functionality of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
Inspect and test plumbing systems for proper installation, pressure, and flow.
Test and commission ELV systems such as fire alarms, security systems, and building management systems (BMS).
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during the commissioning process.
Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure all systems meet project requirements and standards.
Prepare detailed commissioning reports and documentation.
Follow and enforce safety standards and procedures at all times.
Provide training and support to end-users on the operation and maintenance of MEP systems.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in commissioning electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and ELV systems.
Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Proficient in using testing and measurement instruments for MEP systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBB, AABC, TABB) are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in MEP commissioning.
Hands-on experience with electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing installations, and ELV systems.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry testing equipment and heavy equipment related ot testing set up.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
