About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Director (Datacenter and Cloud) to lead our Systems team and drive the management, implementation, and optimization of IT systems across on-premises and cloud environments. This strategic role ensures alignment with enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and security policies while overseeing critical infrastructure, cloud transformation, and database environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of System and Database Administrators, setting KPIs and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Oversee design, implementation, and operations of virtualization and cloud infrastructure (Azure, VMware, SQL, Microsoft stack).
• Manage systems and database projects within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Optimize resource consumption and costs through automation and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and governance into business processes.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (VMware, Microsoft, ITIL V4 certifications required).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in Systems Administration (on-prem & cloud), with 7+ years managing systems projects.
• Skills:

• Expertise in Azure, VMware, SQL, Microsoft technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security governance, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Desirable: MBA, ISO27001, familiarity with GDPR, PCI, and UAE regulations.
