Our customers have their choice of a SaaS or Private Hosted platform that includes industry-focused modules to manage everything from Financials and Payroll to Project Management and Budgeting. Our market share is very strong in North America and rapidly expanding internationally in regions like Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. CMiC has recently set up a subsidiary in Dubai, and the Systems Administrator will be working from the Dubai office.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • The Systems Administrator will perform, but not limited to, the below tasks and activities:
    • 1st line of Support for System Admin-related activities during the off hours of the A team.
    • Monitor internal and Customer ticket queues within Salesforce and complete System Admin-related tickets.
    • Manage System resources performance and assure optimization, as well as provide support for all applications and maintain an ideal level of customer service.
    • Diagnose and remediate OS-related issues.
    • Follow checklists related to activities such as server build or server decommissioning.
    • Deploy Updates and Security patches across Windows and Linux operating systems via Azure Arc
    • Conduct Monthly reboots.
    • Automate everyday tasks via shell, bash, batch, or PowerShell scripting.
    • Follow up on tickets with 3rd party vendors such as AWS, Office 365, and OCI.
    • Provide a report of outstanding after-hours issues so the A team may continue with progress.
    • Monitor and respond quickly to requests received via emails.
Requirements Education Requirements B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in IT is required.
Skill Requirements The Systems Administrator would ideally be required to know the below technologies and possess the following skills:
  • Extensive Linux System Administration and Advanced Red Hat Unix skills.
  • Expert in Bash and Shell scripting.
  • Microsoft Products: Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure Arc, Windows Logs, Exchange Server, Hyper-V Manager, Failover Cluster Manager, Group Policy Management, Server Manager, SVN, LastPass, etc.
  • Salesforce, JIRA
  • ATP, Sentinel, SMTP2Go, Delinea Secret Server
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Server Technologies, Active Directory, Group Policies, etc.
  • Knowledge of Networking technologies such as routers, switches, VPNs, Firewalls, etc.
  • Proficient in Virtualization technologies and Cloud platforms Hyper-V, AWS, OCI, and Azure.
  • Experienced in providing help desk support, familiar with IT ticket systems like JIRA and Salesforce
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ideally, experienced with Ansible or other automation tools.
  • Experienced with cloud platforms.
