System Specialist - People - UAE

Location: UAE

Role Profile:

The System Specialist in the People Transformation function is responsible for the functional support, maintenance of major HR Systems and daily operational responsibilities.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

Understand HR functional strategies, policies, processes, and best practices for all HR functions.\xe2\x80\x8b

Take part in the implementation of new technology options and integrate them into Alshaya people systems in collaboration with the IT teams.\xe2\x80\x8b

Provide functional support for HR System upgrades/enhancements/configurations; Prepare user acceptance test scenarios/suggest process workflow.

Evaluate and communicate the impact of changes on users.

Develop user guides and training materials and conducting regular training sessions for users.

Manage and enforce user access policies.

Develop an FAQ repository for users.

Assist in internal and external HR systems audits.

Review business requirement document/Discuss the requirements with IT team (Finalize the scope etc.)

Support HR-related IT ticket resolutions.

Coordinate with stakeholders at various tiers to discuss requirements, collaborate in solution delivery, manage and report on projects performance.

Coordinate with IT for technical issues.

Create tutorial videos for common tasks.

Prepare functional specifications document, prototypes, user guides, to existing systems in HR to increase the percentage of employees\' usage of the HR system.

Resolve Service Now tickets related to HR application raised by users within the agreed SLA to ensure a high user satisfaction.

Maintain an error log and coordinate fixes with the aim to reduce errors.

Number of data quality issues found and resolved each month.\xe2\x80\x8b

Number of successful collaborations achieved for HR process improvements.\xe2\x80\x8b

Knowledge:

Retail related process and technology trends.

Oracle /Learning Management System /MS Office 365/ Power BI.

Experience:

3 years of experience in Oracle functional knowledge.

Experience with implementing projects.

Familiar with Learning Management System (LMS) and MS Office 365.

Skills:

Planning and organizing skills.

Analytical and Problem Solving.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Ability to prioritize work .

Quick learner.

Stakeholder management.

People engagement skills.

Training delivery skills.

Additional role requirements:

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science/Computer engineer/System analysis or in a related field.

Power BI/Database basic knowledge.
