Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Responsible for managing the client approval processes in accordance with the guidance given in MODSafe D6.3.
- Responsible with coordinating and monitoring the Safety Review Panel.
- Manage the preparation of the Network Engineering Safety Case for each line on behalf of the Client.
- Responsible with ensuring that the Contractor's systems assurance activities are fully compliant with EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 and MODSafe.
- Responsible with monitoring of Contractor's system assurance tasks regarding integration of the entire Doha Metro Project in accordance with the governing contracts.
- Responsible with monitoring and coordinating Fire & Life Safety, EMC Safety related issues and system performance.
- Establishes the safety cases and chairs the safety review panel.
- May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and 10+ years of related work experience
- Professional Engineer registration may be required
- Well-versed with EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 and MODSafe.
- Proficiency in utilizing PC software packages typically associated with Systems Assurance is required.
- Candidate currently in Qatar might be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is required.
