Staytus is seeking a System and DevOps Engineer to build and deploy backend services across our suite of communications and marketing tools used by five-star hotels and high net-worth guests around the world. Staytus and You Staytus helps guests connect with luxury hotels during their stay, in any language, and enjoy dining, spa, activities, retail and more at each property. Staytus also allows hotels to deliver a digital service experience to guests that exceeds traditional means. Brands including Four Seasons, Fairmont, Raffles, Anantara, Park Hyatt, Kempinski, W and Taj use Staytus. The System and DevOps Engineer will be one of the main contributor across the set of Staytus backbone: from infrastructure and security. A strong understanding of both server side and cloud setup is essential. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do

• Responsible for Cloud and Monitoring environments - Build infrastructure, tools and services to improve delivery and availability.
• Responsible for Staytus Guest service platform "including in-room services", up-time, infrastructure, scale and costs.
• Work alongside Dev team and Client service in addition handle communication with hotel IT clients for related platform service support.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Remote or on-site.
• +2 years of experience with cloud architectures such as AWS, GCP or Azure .
• +2 years of experience with containerized environments and microservices (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of build/release systems, git, GitOps principles, CI/CD systems, Gitlab.
• Good networking foundations: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Load-balancers, infrastructure security.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm) is an advantage.
• Experience working with databases such as Mysql, MongoDB and optimization - an advantage.
• Innovative and ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies.
• Willingness to learn new technology and contribute to the team effort in solving problems.
• A state of mind and approach to automate away from manual efforts.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Final technical interview will be held in the office where you will asked to perform certain task such as service provisioning, network or database configuration (whichever is seen fit).
• You will then be interviewed by the CEO of the company as the final stage of the interview once you have passed all the technical tests.
