VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for System and Database Administrator for one of its clients which is a leading Organization in Qatar with the following terms and conditions. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: . Bachelor Degree in IT or IT related field . OCP Certification is an added advantage . 5-6 years of experience in managing different types of databases, SQL, Oracle, ... and systems like ERP mainly . 5-6 years' experience in system administration, specific areas to be covered such as VMware Virtualization, cloud administration, Datacenter administration, storage and backup, IP telephony, system and network integration, Linux Solaris, VDI and Application virtualization, Citrix etc. in addition to domain knowledge of system administration and database administration. . Experience in SQL Clustering, SQL Queries, MS Server 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014, Performance Tuning. . Experience building and implementing databases, debugging, SSIS, SSRS, and DTS as well as migrating DTS packages into SSIS. . Data Warehouse Design and Administration experience a plus. . Experience in Database Encryption, protection, classifications . Must have experience in writing stored procedures, and providing high availability service. . Experience Building/Maintaining Data Warehousing Solutions. . Excellent backup, monitoring, recovery, planning and troubleshooting skills. . Works with vendors to architect, design and configure large, complex databases with replication and highavailability . Develop policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database(s). . Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly . Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed . Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed . Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups . System administration and IT certifications in Solaris, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus . Maintain the internetworking of varies platforms such as Cisco, . Dell, VMware, Nutanix, VXRail platforms. . Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent . Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols . Experience with scripting and automation tools . Administration of system in windows, Linux and Oracle Sparc Solaris platforms SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: . Detailed understanding of database tuning, monitoring and security. . Highly experienced in handling Oracle Database on windows, Solaris. . Experienced in handling Databases on RAC setup. . Sound knowledge of Oracle Forms/Reports (setup and Configuration). . Internal customer service orientation . Sound knowledge of network topologies and components . Certification in Microsoft Systems . Project management skills . Relevant certifications are added advantages. . Communication skills . Time Management . Planning and Organizing Key Performance Indicators: . Ensures the standards are implemented correctly . Ensures that all deliverables are thoroughly documented . Ensures that all deliverables and documentation are maintained in a well-structured folders . Reduction in cost of poor quality .
