Job Description
Position: System Administrator-
JPC: 5565
Location: Ajman
Contract: Temporary contract (1 Contract)
Managing Azure Infrastructure
Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines.
Perform VM backup, snapshot, and restore operations.
Schedule and verify Azure backup jobs for VMs and critical workloads
Troubleshoot boot, performance, and connectivity issues on VMs.
Manage disk resizing, and performance tuning.
Manage auto-shutdown/startup schedules
Manage Azure storage accounts, blob containers and file shares.
Review performance metrics and optimize underutilized or overused resources
Configure and monitor patch management
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document incident resolutions during application down
Managing Database
Monitor database health, storage usage, and performance.
Monitor routine maintenance like re-indexing, statistics updates, and log management.
Management of database user accounts and access permissions.
Manage Hyper-V Replica, Live Migration, and Failover Clustering.
Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, and Group Policies.
Configure and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication servers and repositories.
Set up and manage backup jobs for VMs, physical servers, and SQL.
