Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of swimming pools, spas, and related equipment.
Test and balance pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness).
Operate and maintain filtration systems, pumps, heaters, and chlorinators.
Diagnose and repair leaks, plumbing issues, and equipment malfunctions.
Perform seasonal pool openings and closings.
Clean pool surfaces, tiles, and surrounding areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
Maintain accurate service records and report any major issues to management.
Comply with safety guidelines and local health regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
Knowledge of pool water chemistry and safe chemical handling.
Familiarity with electrical and plumbing systems related to pools.
Ability to operate testing kits and maintenance tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic landscaping or outdoor construction knowledge for pool surroundings.
