Job Title:

Swimming Pool Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Swimming Pool Technician to join our maintenance team. The technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial swimming pools, spas, and related equipment. This role requires a strong knowledge of pool systems, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect pools, equipment, and systems to identify issues and perform routine maintenance Test water quality using appropriate chemicals and adjust chemical levels as needed (e.g., chlorine, pH) Clean pools, including skimming debris, brushing walls, vacuuming, and cleaning filters Maintain and repair pool equipment such as pumps, heaters, filters, lights, and automatic pool cleaners Detect leaks and repair plumbing systems and fixtures as required Winterize and prepare pools for seasonal changes Advise customers on pool care, safety, and maintenance schedules Keep accurate records of services performed and chemicals used Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus Proven experience as a pool technician or in a similar maintenance role Knowledge of pool water chemistry and equipment Ability to troubleshoot and repair pool-related issues Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong problem-solving and communication skills Certification (e.g., Certified Pool Operator - CPO) is a plus

Work Environment:

Outdoor work at residential and commercial properties Requires travel between job sites May involve weekend or emergency service calls
