Job Description

The Swimming Pool Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of swimming pools, including water treatment systems, pumps, filters, and associated plumbing and drainage networks. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge in both swimming pool systems and general plumbing/drainage maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:



Perform routine maintenance and repair of swimming pools, filtration systems, and water circulation equipment. Inspect, clean, and replace pool filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorination systems. Monitor and adjust chemical levels to maintain safe and hygienic water conditions. Conduct leak detection and repair works in pool piping and drainage systems. Maintain and troubleshoot plumbing lines, valves, and fittings related to pool systems. Ensure proper operation of drainage and backwash systems. Respond to service requests and perform preventive maintenance as scheduled. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report any major faults to the supervisor. Follow safety procedures and ensure all work complies with local regulations and company standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Plumbing, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Swimming Pool Technician, preferably in Doha or GCC region. Strong knowledge of pool systems, plumbing, and drainage maintenance. Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals. Good communication skills in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage). Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
