Job Overview
We are hiring a qualified and vigilant Swimming Pool Attendant (Level 2 trained) for GEMS Education in Dubai, starting August 2025. The Swimming Pool Attendant will ensure the safety of students and staff during swimming activities, support PE teachers, and uphold GEMS\' high standards of safety and well-being. This role requires strong swimming ability, certified training, and a proactive approach to risk management and accident prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain close supervision of the swimming pool, ensuring user safety at all times
• Collaborate with PE teachers to support swimming lessons and student engagement
• Intervene to prevent unsafe behavior and anticipate potential risks
• Respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations
• Complete daily and ongoing risk assessments of the pool and surrounding areas
• Ensure compliance with GEMS Education safety policies, procedures, and behavior standards
• Attend team meetings and contribute to school events and initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

• Follow all health and safety guidelines in accordance with recognized lifesaving and supervision protocols

Job Requirements

• Level 2 Swim England Qualification (SEQ) or equivalent
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
• Successful completion of lifesaving, supervision, and first aid training
• Excellent observational and communication skills
• High level of discipline, alertness, and commitment to safety
