Job Description

We are seeking a certified and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to teach individuals and groups how to swim and improve their aquatic skills in a safe and engaging environment. The instructor will be responsible for creating lesson plans, monitoring student progress, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:



Plan and conduct swimming lessons for children and/or adults of various skill levels. Assess swimmers' abilities and tailor lessons to meet their needs. Teach water safety, survival skills, and proper swimming techniques. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and supervising activities. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to participants and/or parents. Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress. Respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols. Set up and clean up pool areas before and after lessons. Maintain certification and stay updated on current best practices in swim instruction. Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and staff.

Qualifications:



Proven experience as a swim instructor, lifeguard, or similar role. Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding (Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent). Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification is highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with children and individuals of all ages. Physically fit and able to perform rescues if needed. Reliable, responsible, and professional demeanor.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED2,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 3 - 4 per week
