Job Description
The PLC software developer is responsible for the development of the software or parts of it and its installation in the CPU - PLC of the plant/line.
In particular, he deals with:

- Developing the software for the assigned job/parts of the job, guaranteeing the best application solutions, respecting the defined architecture and customer requests;
- Carry out simulation, testing and debugging activities in order to guarantee the product functionality requested by the customer;
- Install and test the software at the customer\'s systems, ensuring compliance with the installation times and expected functions;
- Coordinate software optimization activities during installation, maintenance and assistance;
- Carry out remote technical assistance activities for assigned orders;
- Draft project documentation and user manuals.
- Internal relations: with Order/project manager, other bodies in the product development field
- External relations: with Clients
- Organizational relations: Reports to Team Leader in the Automation department.
- Tool: Siemens (TIA Portal S7) / Rockwel (Allen Bradley)
- programming languages:
- Siemens: AWL-KOP, SCL, Ladder
- Rockwell RSLogix: 5000/500
- knowledge of application software programming languages
- electromechanical and automation knowledge
- drafting of project technical documentation
- knowledge of MS Office package
- High school diploma in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical engineering or degree in equivalent subjects
- Experience of at least 3-4 years in reality, including consultancy, in the design of industrial plants and machinery, preferably in the food & beverage sector or inert materials treatment;
- Good knowledge of the English language;
