Summary: The SVP of Supply Chain is a critical leadership role within Huda Beauty and is responsible for leading and overseeing our end-to-end supply chain operations processes across all brands including planning, new product development (NPD), auditing, inventory control, 3PL management, product marketing briefs, procurement, logistics, and customer delivery. The SVP is also accountable for ensuring that the capabilities of the Supply Chain processes are supporting the business plans for the short and long term. The ideal candidate should be experienced with the accelerated scaling of a business. An analytical, strategic leader passionate about delivering results through people and effective collaboration across functions. A strong aptitude for developing talent, building exceptional teams, and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Spearhead strategy development and tactical execution for Huda Beauty's end-to-end Supply Chain with a specific focus on NPD, Procurement, Logistics, Quality Control, and Customer Experience
• Ensure our inventory plan meets demand by running the demand replenishment process (DRP)
• In conjunction with our VP of NPD and Procurement, strategize and work proactively to ensure raw materials, packaging, and finished goods are properly procured, in time for production and following agreed inventory levels with appropriate payment terms
• Inventory to Deliver: The needed physical distribution facilities (the Distribution Centers for shipments to retailers and eCommerce ) and process as well as transportation process are properly operating and set to ensure that inventory matches the customers orders at all times
• Ensure mid and terms capacity plans have been developed so that the top line growth will be supported at all times. This includes equipment, systems, people, etc.
• Develop business continuity plans for sustainability and risk management to ensure a sustainable business
• Lead an unrivaled Supply Chain + Purchasing organization in support of business goals, strategies, and internal/external customers. Proactively direct, design, and develop global solutions to ensure the integration of technology, people, and processes across Huda Beauty
• Work collaboratively with CEO, COO, and Product Development to ensure that all steps and processes are executed in line with the timeline set for each product launch
• Establish seamless, well-integrated processes across the supply chain to create cohesion between planning, sourcing, warehousing, and market(s) operations
• Spearhead our Logistics efforts in conjunction with Senior Director of Logistics to ensure superlative order management and customer service ensuring that customer orders are received, processed, filled, and invoiced on time and in full
• Develop, oversee, and help put in place all quality control and quality assurance processes and policies
• Lead the manufacturing execution of the demand by running the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and the proper manufacturing facilities, equipment, teams, and processes

• Lead, motivate, coach, retain, and develop Supply Chain + Purchasing team for continuous team growth and impact including recruiting, structuring the organization, developing, rewarding, and delegation process

• Ensure business continuity plans are developed and all risks (including environmental risks) for a sustainable business are addressed as needed
• Establish balanced metrics (cost, quality, service, etc.) that drive accountability for total operating costs of the supply chain; oversee Pamp;L expense lines and accounting to ensure that all operations are optimized cost-wise including COGS, purchase conditions, transportation, customs, etc.
• Plan practical demand forecasting and effective inventory management and optimization to avoid lost sales, destruction, and/or obsolescence

Requirements
15+ years experience in all the areas of supply chain and logistics in similar industries

• Combination of retail, transportation, logistics, distribution center, omnichannel, and 3PL experience
• Expert level knowledge in implementing and building ERP systems
• Demonstrated experience with managing and leading a team at Director level (hiring, performance management, coaching, etc.).
• Must have experience working with Founders by collaboratively establishing vision, ideating strategy, and executing accordingly
• Highly analytical individual: able to make data-driven decisions with an in-depth understanding of ROI, financial levers, and the financial impact of decisions and resources on operational activities.

Outstanding interpersonal, coaching, and listening skills with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex analytic topics for non-technical and international audiences.

Solid negotiation and relationship building skills with internal and external partners.

High levels of intellectual horsepower combined with empathy and emotional intelligence, the ability to listen to and learn from their team.
