The SVP, Strategic Business Development will be the core driver behind the company’s growth strategy through new and existing partners and Business Development Managers in the company’s key strategic locations. A professional who can identify and build strong, lasting strategic relationships with new and existing partners. The ideal candidate will have strong and proven track record of business development through partners in a similar role and should have strong technical knowledge and understanding of the FX, CFD and Crypto market, and ideally have existing relationships in the company’s target regions. The candidate should have experience leading teams and consistently achieving challenging targets. Develop, implement and lead the company’s growth strategy based on Introducing Brokers, Strategic Partners and BDMs
Build new strategic partnerships in key geolocations and leverage existing and past partner relationships.
Build and lead a team of global Business Development Managers to increase revenue in our key strategic regions and expand our global footprint.
Lead the Partner Relations team to nurture and increase contributions from existing Strategic Partners and Introducing Brokers
Use your existing network to conduct research to identify new partners, identify key players and create the environment for new partnerships
Proactively identify opportunities to improve current processes across functional areas, optimizing our procedures for efficiency and productivity
Collaborate with internal colleagues to deliver a frictionless experience for our partners and clients and build scalable solutions that drive our growth
Work closely with the product team to determine and prioritise the partner product strategy
Successfully performance manage and motivate your team’s output and hit targets
Qualifications Role Requirements:
Proven working experience as a commercial development manager, a partnerships manager or other relevant senior leadership role
Ability to lead teams to challenging sales KPIs
Ability to execute and plan in tandem
Experience in Financial Service essential
Initiative and an entrepreneurial attitude.
Outstanding problem-solving skills
Strong decision-making capabilities; Highly self-motivated and self-driven
Able to work under tight deadlines and drive the team to effectively deliver commercial goals
