Job description
Lead the sustainability assessment, planning and design of master plans and building projects, including the integration of renewable energy systems, sustainable design practises, occupant well-being based design, low carbon strategies.
Develop and implement sustainable design guidelines and standards for projects.
Conduct energy, water and carbon assessments identifying opportunities for conversation and efficiency.
Provide technical support to project teams and clients on any sustainability related issues.
Collaborate with other consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the incorporation of sustainable design principles.
Preparing sustainability reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Carry out LEED/Estidama/WELL certification assessments for projects in the region.
Staying current with industry developments and trends in sustainable building design and construction.
Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
- A minimum of 4-5 years of demonstrated sustainability consulting experience in the region.
- Strong understanding of green building/masterplan rating systems such as LEED, WELL, Estidama etc.
- LEED AP, Estidama PQP and WELL AP or equivalent professional certifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Documented experience in delivering sustainable projects and close coordination with large design teams.
