Responsibilities:

• Reviews, comments and approves all sustainability related scope of work and consultants/third parties which are engaged by any operating company within the Group and used for projects to ensure that they are in line with the corporate policies/standards/guidelines and approved codes of practice in addition to the local rules and regulations.
• Performs highly complex forecasting and cost/benefit analysis to enable ENOC's management to make informed decisions that focus on optimizing social and environmental impacts of sustainability program initiatives. Evaluates ENOC's sustainability initiatives qualitatively and quantitatively, promotes sustainability among ENOC's vendors and clients, publicly shares ENOC sustainability efforts and continually improves ENOC's sustainability efforts in-line with ENOC's philosophy of continuous improvement.
• Establishes and implements a strategic approach to drive ENOC group to periodically measure and monitor the sustainability impacts (Energy, Environment, Economic and Social) of its processes and to design ENOC Sustainability Index with KPIs, short- and long-term goals in line with the ENOC's vision and mission.
• Develops and sets ENOC Group wide new objectives and targets that will be part of scorecard for ENOC Group, Business Units, Segments and Corporate Departments to track sustainability performance which shall be time bound, specific and measurable. In addition, reviews the sustainability performance on a quarterly basis against the targets in scorecard to ascertain whether results are consistent and are carried out as planned.
• Develops, structures and operates models on sustainable finance by working with Group Finance team in securing or raising sustainability improvement loans/funds to support ENOC's strategies and business models for expansion into various markets.
• Supports Head-Group Sustainability/Chief Sustainability Officer to serve as the central point of contact for any and all interfaces with stakeholders on the subject of sustainability. This includes being the lead interface with stakeholders relative to their inquiries, their requests for information on company efforts in support of sustainability, and any and all written and verbal communications to customers on the subject of sustainability. As necessary, collaborates with internal subject matter experts to ensure appropriate responses and communications
• Designs and develops sustainability policy, strategy, manuals, guidelines and codes of practice for approval by ENOC Head-Group Sustainability/Chief Sustainability Officer and Management and support in implementing sustainability performance improvement initiatives and elements into its core business processes and decision-making.
• Reviews, comments and approves all Energy & Resource Management (E&RM) related projects and scope of work including those that will be executed through ENOC Energy Fund created at group level.
• Conducts technical-economic assessment of the proposed projects/initiatives on its sustainability impact (Energy, Environment, Economic and Social) and future sustainable performance and identify options for potential cost reduction opportunities to improve project attractiveness. Responsible to integrate sustainability (Energy, Environment and Social aspects) in design and outline sustainable procurement strategies (including eliminating use of hazardous materials; observation of human rights and labour conditions during the procurementprocess) and conducts Post Investment Review (PIR) to ensure the benefits are realized on a long-term ongoing basis.
• Conducts critical studies including a rolling audit on sustainability performance (Energy, Environment and Social), GHG accounting, green building, carbon reduction strategies, clean development mechanism, carbon finance, etc. and evaluates the effectiveness of the projects by preparing financial models to determine RoI by simple payback or IRR / Life Cycle Costing.
• Establishes core sustainability taskforce within ENOC Group involving all Business Units with the mandate to improve organization-wide efforts to ensure that sustainability performance management and performance improvement programs are developed and managed using a data-driven approach by implementing Sustainability Data Management System that sets priorities for improvements in line with on-going strategic imperatives.
• Creates and develops charter for ENOC Sustainability Leadership and other Sustainability Committees and supports Head- Group Sustainability/Chief Sustainability Officer in the appointment of the Sub-Committees under Leadership committee on members, defines duties and assigns accountabilities. Be a member to the Sustainability Leadership Committee (headed by the CEO and EXCOM as members) and other sub-committees (Energy & Resource Management, Environment and CSR) to assist and shape the sustainability efforts of the ENOC.
