As a Sustainability Engineer at JLL, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of challenging sustainability projects related to sustainability strategy, sustainability certification, Net Zero and decarbonization projects.

Your continuous development of skills and adoption of new technologies is key to the impact you will have in this role. You will interact with clients and vendors to develop collaborative solutions, support project related documentation, perform research, support weekly meetings and develop reports and memos communicating technical details, processes and action items. Your knowledge of commercial real estate operations, sustainability and energy management, construction and/or architectural industry will speak to your ability to collaborate with your team in delivering innovative and industry changing projects.

What this job involves

Report and support the Director of Sustainability

Work closely with clients to manage and deliver their sustainability ambitions

Support with the business development through networking, bid development and marketing

Mentor junior staff.

Desired skills and experience for this job

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Ability to juggle multiple projects/activities and maintain tight deadlines, organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

Technical knowledge and experience in:

Sustainable designs and policies

Net Zero strategies

Decarbonization methods and tools

Whole-life carbon assessment

Modelling/simulation tool interrogation and working knowledge

GCC regional specific knowledge and experience

Good communication skills both verbal and written

Analytical skills

Ability to translate often complex sustainability information

Confident and self-motivated, with good use of initiative

High level of competence in using standard software packages (MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
