About the Role:

COENGR is seeking a motivated and experienced

Sustainability Coordinator

to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in supporting our commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable development within the built environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in sustainability practices and possess strong credentials such as

LEED AP

and

Estidama PQP

(Mostadam AP is a plus).

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with design, engineering, and project teams to integrate sustainable solutions across all project stages. Contribute to the planning and implementation of COENGR's sustainability strategy and long-term environmental goals. Conduct sustainability audits and evaluations to identify opportunities for improved resource use, energy conservation, and waste minimization. Recommend and evaluate sustainable materials, systems, and innovations to improve project performance and reduce environmental impact. Track, analyze, and report on sustainability performance indicators to ensure targets are being met. Work closely with vendors, clients, and partners to support responsible sourcing and sustainable practices. Lead internal awareness campaigns and training sessions to promote sustainability across the organization. Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and local/regional sustainability regulations (LEED, Estidama, Mostadam, etc.). Support the preparation of project documentation, sustainability certifications, and internal/external sustainability reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Mandatory credentials:

LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)

and

Estidama Pearl Qualified Professional (PQP)

. Mostadam Accredited Professional (AP) is a plus. 2-3 years of relevant experience in a sustainability-focused role within the built environment. Strong knowledge of green building standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability certification processes. Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Self-driven, proactive, and passionate about environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
