A Sushi Chef prepares and presents various types of sushi and sashimi, maintains high standards of food hygiene and safety, manages inventory of fresh ingredients, collaborates with kitchen staff to create innovative menu items, and provides excellent customer service at a sushi bar. The role requires exceptional knife skills, creativity in food presentation, knowledge of Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisine, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation.
