KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Select, clean, and prepare various types of seafood, ensuring quality and freshness.
Expertly fillet and portion fish for retail display and sushi preparation.
Prepare a wide variety of sushi dishes, including maki, nigiri, and sashimi, with attention to presentation and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including utensils and equipment.
Advise customers on the best fish selections and sushi options based on taste and preferences.
Stay updated on seafood trends and maintain knowledge of seasonal fish.
Monitor stock levels, reorder seafood, and minimize waste.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper fish storage techniques.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
