Sushi Chef - Katei Dubai


Key Responsibilities:



Food Quality Control

- Ensure every sushi dish meets the highest standards of freshness, taste, and presentation.

Kitchen Operations

- Support daily production, inventory management, and ordering of sushi ingredients and supplies.

Quality Assurance

- Regularly inspect ingredients, control food costs, and minimize waste.

Consistency & Standards

- Maintain Katei's signature quality across delivery platforms and brand collaborations.

Hygiene & Safety

- Follow Dubai Municipality food safety rules and keep a clean, organized kitchen at all times.

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with other chefs and management to improve efficiency, menu quality, and production flow.

Requirements:



Minimum 2

years' experience

in Japanese or sushi-focused kitchens. Excellent knowledge of sushi preparation, knife techniques, and fish handling. Creative approach to modern Japanese cuisine and presentation. Strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude. Previous experience in

cloud kitchen or delivery-based concept

is a plus.
