We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi, maintaining high food standards, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese dishes.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and freshness of seafood and ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create seasonal and innovative sushi menus.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Provide excellent attention to detail, plating, and presentation.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a restaurant or hotel.
Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, especially sushi and sashimi preparation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity and passion for food presentation and innovation.
Excellent knife skills and seafood handling knowledge.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
