As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and other traditional Japanese dishes while maintaining food safety and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare various types of sushi, including maki, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls.
Select high-quality ingredients and ensure freshness and proper storage.
Create new and innovative sushi menu items to enhance customer experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen.
Monitor food preparation to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle customer requests and accommodate dietary restrictions.
Train and supervise kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize food waste.
