Restaurant is seeking a talented and experienced Sushi Chef and Assistant chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Japanese cuisine and skilled in creating high-quality sushi dishes with exceptional attention to detail and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all food is prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Create new menu items or specials based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with food safety standards.
Monitor inventory and coordinate with the team to manage stock levels and orders.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper techniques and standards.
Engage in quality control to ensure every dish meets the restaurants high standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a professional kitchen.
Expertise in knife handling and sushi preparation techniques.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Creativity and a passion for culinary innovation.
