Job in brief Are you an experienced, enthusiastic, highly challenging Supply chain specialist, having experience in supple chain and inventory , then you are the one we are looking for? This is an excellent opportunity to drive a dynamic business with huge growth potential. In order to be considered, you must be already based in the UAE. Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to safety, security, environmental protection, etc.
  • Analyzing customer demand forecasts to determine how much product should be produced and in what time frame
  • Reviewing data on current inventory levels to identify any shortages or overages
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure they are meeting quality standards and can deliver products on time
  • Creating reports about supply chain activities such as cost analysis, distribution analysis, feasibility studies, etc.
  • Managing inventory levels by ordering additional supplies when needed or selling excess inventory to reduce out-of-stock situations
  • Managing the purchase of raw materials for manufacturing products or services through contracts with suppliers
  • Assist, support, and provide backup coverage for all Supply Chain team members.
  • Understand and execute all Supply Chain activities such as stock take, physical inventory count, inventory accuracy in allocation and consumption, material demand, sales order entry, and purchase order entry if needed.
  • Maintain Work Order Management system and understanding of production work order / material commitment, and back flushing.
  • Assess and manage inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply
  • Maintain and evaluate inventory records on a quarterly basis
  • Instruct store staff on proper procedures for locating and utilizing product inventory
  • Check bulk orders for accuracy and quality prior to shipment
Required Skills:
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance or accounts.
  • Proven work experience as a supply chain specialist / Inventory Specialist at least for 3 years.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Multitasking and prioritizing capabilities
  • Strong problem solver and able to create solutions to challenges in an expedient manner
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must be based in the UAE.
  • Excellent math and accounting skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of \xe2\x80\x9cDear System\xe2\x80\x9d inventory is a plus
