The position is based in Kuwait, our Gulf Cluster headquarters. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be a member of the Finance & Operations (F&O) team and you will report to the F&O Director.

The Position

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for managing relations between Gulf Cluster's distributors in collaboration with the F&O Director. In addition, you will be reviewing and reconciling claims from distributors regarding expiring items, product bonuses, and other indirect costs or deductions connected to products.

Main Accountabilities:

. Supporting Access Team with information regarding logistics information for tenders (Incoterms, Shipment costs, timings, etc.) . Supervising accuracy of sales and deductions on SAP . Mapping import operations and customs requirements on focus countries to minimize import risks and timings . Partnering with Tender Managers to manage supply chain, inventory, and logistics issues with distributors . Supporting Quality Team on issues related to products shipped to distributors

Qualifications

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you need to be good at prioritizing, have a solid analytical and quality mindset, be detail-oriented with strong follow-up capacity, and be good at building and maintaining constructive relations with your colleagues and stakeholders across all levels and functions in the organization.

Requirements:

. Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and logistics preferably in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry . University degree in Management, Engineering, or equivalent is a must; Postgraduate studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Project Management are a plus . Experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting . Computer Skills such as PowerPoint and Excel in analysis and forecasting . Proficiency in oral and written English is a must

Gulf Cluster affiliate has more than 75 employees who are working to improve the lives of people with diabetes, obesity, haemophilia, and growth disorders in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Yemen. Novo Nordisk Gulf Cluster is expecting significant growth in the coming years.

F&O is the department responsible for the day-to-day activities of the affiliate, including, financial transactions, financial planning and reporting, management of the company's cash flow, order and supply chain planning, all IT activities including administration of the company's IT infrastructure, software, and business IT applications, as well as local implementation of all global IT projects.
