Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as our Supply Chain Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the rapidly growing supply chain field.
The Supply Chain Officer will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and other stakeholders within the organization to ensure effective and efficient supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and experience in supply chain, warehousing, and/or inventory management.
Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Officer will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and other stakeholders within the organization to ensure effective and efficient supply chain operations. Responsibilities:
- Monitor supply chain operations to ensure compliance with organization policies and procedures
- Design and implement processes to optimize supply chain operations and minimize costs
- Track project timelines and deadlines
- Negotiate with suppliers to maintain favorable prices, terms, and delivery schedules
- Ensure timely delivery of goods
- Analyze inventory records to identify potential backlogs and opportunities for improvement
- Develop forecasts and time-sensitive plans for dealing with potential supply chain problems
- Oversee supplier performance, customer service, and inventory management
- Monitor trends in the supply chain sector to ensure the organization is on the cutting edge of innovation
- Manage relationships with vendors and key stakeholders
- Prepare reports and track progress
- At least 1 years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, and/or inventory management
- Knowledge of industry best practices and latest supply chain trends
- Ability to develop efficient metrics and processes
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and supply chain software
