Coordinate, manage, monitor and track the transportation of goods from international suppliers to warehouses or end destinations.
Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for international shipments, including customs declarations, import/export licenses, and bills of lading.
Monitor inventory levels and arrange for replenishment as necessary to avoid shortages.
Work with customs brokers to facilitate the smooth clearance of goods through customs.
Prepare regular reports on procurement and logistics activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and shipping status.
Monitor and track the status of shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any shipping delays or issues.
Source goods and services from international suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality, negotiating contracts and pricing and securing the best possible terms.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
Experience
:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on international markets.
Experience in dealing with freight forwarders, customs agents and manage the vendors.
Experience and knowledge about Building Materials
Skills
:
Strong knowledge of international shipping, import/export compliance, and customs procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience, Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
