What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do
Supply planning, Logistics/Material Management, Importation, clearance and warehousing, Customer order Entry, Tender preparation and submission
Supply Planning:
be the operating link between the Commercial Affiliate and the Planning Center guaranteeing an optimal supply chain
Make sure that the Supply forecast is aligned to the latest market situation and brand strategy. Ensure that the forecast is up to date, reliable and realistic.
Keep \xe2\x80\x9cone set of numbers\xe2\x80\x9d to be used by all functions within the organization
Cooperate with the product manager / New Product Introduction coordinator to ensure that new products are available for a timely launch.
Review the affiliate\xe2\x80\x99s sales and margins together with the business units and finance ensure sales are reflected as approved by Fiance.
Publish the monthly Approved Demand Statement & Report commentary on key changes, gaps and gap closing activities to Affiliate.
Manage timely replenishment shipments and ensure that inventory levels
Work how improved forecast accuracy will contribute to lower costs, better customer service, increased market share and better profits
Manage abnormal demand, tenders, (potential) back orders and product allocation issues and communicate to internal and external stake holders
Managing DOH in line with Affiliate target and re-adjust the forecast when abnormal market fluctuation
Information is gathered and used regarding industry trends, economic conditions, competitor activity, and other extrinsic factors
Participates in the new product introduction process and is aware of the pipeline for ADS growth analysis
Ensure gaps are escalated from the Demand Review with gap-closing recommendations
Responsible for the Supply Chain Management Systems such as SAP / BOBJ and affiliate S&OP models. Act as the systems expert.
Ensure that the data residing in the Supply Chain Management Systems is accurate and up to date.
Monitor operational Key Performance and perform thorough root cause analysis and take appropriate actions to improve future performance
Report weekly back orders to Area Headquarters.
Logistics/Material management:
Enter customer orders in the order management system.
Act as the key affiliate contact with internal customers for supply issues.
Manage importation and shipments issues and complaints
Replenish shipment plan for future 28months, and manage the orders for at least four months in line with production lead time
Make all necessary communications to the Planning Centers/Manufacturing sites and Distribution department until the shipment is reached to the Abbott warehouse.
Lead the process of documentation and clearance at the port
Align shipments planning with the distribution department to ensure the fulfillment of distributors\xe2\x80\x99 orders.
Coordinate with regulatory department to ensure we are in line with MOH regulations, also communicate when needed
Backorder reporting: Prepare backorder report on weekly basis when necessary and submit on the system, and follow up with production source for BO resolution
Initiate the shipments Return Goods and ensure goods destruction happening in a timely manner
Manage abnormal demand/unforeseen situation through ALOG customer service and follow up production source
Ensure documentations are readily available for internal/external Audit
Importation, Clearance and Warehousing:
Follow up on orders shipment on time with correct quantity and full set of documents receipt. (12 shipments monthly on average).
Responsible to request and accurately coordinate the handling of all shipment documents in order to secure needed approvals from (bank, MOH and customs authority).
Responsible for revising customs duties and taxes due on each product shipment and ensuring implantation of free trade agreements or any special exemptions.
Daily follow up with supplier/logistics center to deliver requested orders on time.
Daily follow up with bank and broker to ensure that goods will be released from customs as planned to secure monthly sales targets.
Responsible for warehouse management by notifying warehouse manager for incoming transactions and revise outgoing quantities (FIFO method) before release,
Coordinates monthly reconciliation to ensure that quantities stored at warehouse are correct.
Leads annual physical count with participation of legal and accounting departments.
Coordination with other departments to achieve monthly forecasted sales and updating monthly demand sales sheet.
Leads annual Customs and Trade compliance Audit and ensure clean audit every year for ANI.
NPI (New Product Introduction):
Liaison between the Affiliate Project Manager and Regional Office
Coordinator of the monthly project status update process at the Affiliate
Communicate the status of projects at the Affiliate, raise issues, prepare S&OP input
Review the quality of the data
Ensure New Product and new project plans are incorporated into the ADS for timely shipment.
Note: Commercial lead owns the idea generation, validation, evaluation, approval of business case and post launch assessment. NPI coordinator/ Project manager owns the execution of projects from approval to launch.
Coordinate and communicate with Region and Division, provide required project updates.
Measure and report on time execution of launch activities. Identify performance gaps and ensure improvement actions are taken to minimize impact on business performance
Affiliate S&OP Support:
Submit inventory level report, highlight exposure if any and propose solutions for depletion.
Ensure key issues are addressed as presented and the required decisions taken.
Highlight transit/clearance times delays if identified impacting product availability. Share clearance tracking report.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s/ Master\'s in science (preferably Supply Chain/ Logistics) having relevant experience in the region
