Supply Chain Manager

This person will be responsible for the end-to-end Supply Chain function for the business in its entirety, which includes Demand Planning, Distributor/Manufacturer Management, Internal and External Supply options for the determined area. They will work directly with other areas of the business and will own forecasting, process improvement of forecasting metrics, and discuss account trends, highs, and lows.
This role also would be responsible for evaluating/monitoring operations of external parties to determine effectiveness and profitability. They will drive continuous improvement for what falls in their span of control.

The following list shows some but not all the duties that are expected daily:

• Specific account review to determine, question and highlight their business monthly.

o Use available tools to research key demand drivers by item and incorporate into forecasting. Developing the annual plan based on these results.
o Validate forecast, implementing changes as needed by determining root causes for the change.
o Present forecast and the ability to explain performance measures and results as needed.
o Validate any failures and implement action plans to improve performance. This should be done with the participation of cross-functional team members that directly impact the demand plan.
o Track and control number of SKU\'s, driving SKU rationalization and prepare recommendations as needed.

• Develop and maintain a 12-month operation forecast by item by manufacturer.

o Manage forecasting with Manufacturer, Sales & Marketing to ensure forecast accuracy, improvements, and supply analysis.
o Analyze historical data and future to achieve continuous improvements in demand forecasts, forecast accuracy and improve the overall demand plan.
o Accountable for all supply chain metrics including accuracy, customer service levels and waste reduction.
o Evaluate post promotion campaigns to determine success and necessary changes.

• Manage Manufacturer relationships.

o Develop Action plan yearly in concert with them, making improvements year over year.
o Monitor Manufacturer supply chain metrics.

Requirements:

• Strong business management skills including:,

o A strong emphasis on the ability to influence others.
o Analytical and problem-solving skills a must.
o Able to follow up, have a get things done attitude while working under pressure, changing priorties and strict deadlines.
o Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks.

• Ability to collaborate with every level of an organization. Not afraid to professionally question or challenge when necessary.

o Great communication skills, able to understand and explain mathematical concepts.

• Prior management experience with a focus on leading, coaching and motivating a team.

• Strong Microsoft office skills, especially with Excel, Power Point, and outlook.

• ERP system knowledge, SAP a plus.

• Knowledge of supply chain management concepts and statical model techniques.

• Fluent in English (verbal/written) necessary, Arabic as a second language preferred.

• BS in engineering, logistics, science, mathematics, statistics, or related field. Master\'s degree, Supply Chain Management Diploma and APICS certification is a plus.

• 10-15 years of Supply Chain related experience in supply chain, Demand Planning, Logistics desired within the FMCG industry.
