Supply Chain Manager with extensive experience in Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), procurement and logistics to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing supply chain operations, with a focus on VMI, and a deep understanding of supply chain requirements. This role will require strategic planning, implementation of best practices, and close collaboration to ensure seamless supply chain operations, including procurement and logistics responsibilities. Responsibilities Implement VMI strategies to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products . Collaborate to understand their supply chain requirements and tailor VMI solutions to meet their specific needs. Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting. Oversee procurement activities to source and secure quality materials and services in alignment requirements and industry standards. Lead logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation, distribution, and warehousing of goods, optimizing cost and delivery timelines. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement supply chain efficiencies to enhance overall operational performance. Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of VMI strategies and supply chain operations. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years specifically focused on VMI. Proven track record of successfully implementing VMI programs and optimizing inventory levels in a complex supply chain environment. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, requirements, and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools. Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) are a plus.
