Role Overview
The
Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist
at Youniique Luxury Gifts Trading LLC will manage end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and logistics operations to ensure smooth global supply flow. This role involves coordinating shipments (mainly from China and other regions), handling customs and documentation, liaising with suppliers and freight partners, and ensuring timely delivery of curated products for client events. The specialist plays a key role in maintaining Youniique's promise of a seamless, premium gifting experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement and logistics for all global shipments (with a strong emphasis on China).
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, timelines, and cost efficiency.
Handle all import/export operations, including shipping schedules, customs clearance, and documentation.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Monitor and track shipments, resolving any logistical issues proactively.
Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, quality checks, and inventory management.
Coordinate closely with internal teams to align supply timelines with client event requirements.
Optimise logistics costs and streamline processes for greater efficiency.
Maintain accurate records for procurement, supplier contracts, and shipment documentation.
Ensure full compliance with UAE customs and import/export regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in
Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in
logistics coordination or supply chain management
, preferably in a trading, retail, or gifting environment.
Strong knowledge of
freight forwarding, customs regulations, and international shipping documentation.
Proficiency in
logistics software and MS Office applications.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
Familiarity with
UAE logistics procedures and import/export regulations
is an advantage.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
A
valid UAE driving licence
is required.
