About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Supply Chain Executive

to manage end-to-end supply chain operations for a young liquor imports and distribution business based in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in i

nternational freight forwarding, SSL/carrier booking management

,

procurement, shipping documents.

GCC experience is essential. This role requires close coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Execution

Oversee supply chain operations including procurement of goods and process imports to intended destination. Manage imports, place bookings with forwarders or carriers directly for imports from Europe, India, USA, Mexico, Singapore, and China. Skills in negotiating freight rates, transit times ETD/ETA are essential to qualify for the role In depth understanding of shipping documents, Bill of lading, shipping terms, packing list is mandatory Handle direct imports into the UAE and cross-trade shipments into other countries.

Supplier and Customer Service Management

As the role involves dealing with suppliers across multiple locations, good English speaking, reading and writing is important Communicate internally with Logistics and Finance Communicate externally with Supplier for stock readiness, collections and bookings Communicate externally with customer for ETAs and delivery times

Operational Excellence

Maintain accurate shipment records and tracking reports. Monitor cost efficiencies and support freight procurement decisions. Maintain organised internal documentation and status dashboards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations within the Gulf region.

Mandatory

UAE working experience.

Experience with Liquor, Tobacco, FMCG will be essential

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced level). Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure. Good knowledge of UAE customs procedures and import/export regulations.
