Supply Chain Analyst And Project Manager

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to assist the Supply Chain team and the E&M workstream of Dubai Metro in improving the efficiency of the supply chain operation by leading projects (forecasting, digitation, digitalisation, automation) through data analytics. The role\'s output will be will be crucial in driving strategic decision-making, implementing impactful changes, and ensuring successful project delivery and operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Data Analysis and Predictive Modelling:
  • Support the engineering procurement and supply chain management function with data analysis, data visualization and reporting.
  • Conduct spares consumption analytics to identify trends, patterns, and optimisation opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Classify and categorise supply chain data for accurate tracking and decision-making.
  • Utilise advanced data analysis techniques, predictive modelling, and statistical analysis to forecast demand and optimise supply chain operations.
  • Develop future consumption predictions to support proactive planning and inventory management.
Supply Chain Optimisation and Efficiency: * Conduct in-depth cost analysis in coordination with the Finance Department to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive financial efficiencies.
  • Participate in decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations for supply chain improvements.
  • Develop benchmarks, metrics, routine scorecards, and performance visualisation and reporting tools in Power BI for daily operation tracking.
  • Assess reporting tools and supply chain performance on regular basis.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance supply chain resilience and risk management.
  • Collaborate with Keolis-MHI joint venture partners (Keolis, MHI, MC) and other operating locations (UK, France, Qatar, Japan, etc) for best practices and leveraging framework agreements.
Process Improvement and Data Management: * Apply process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma and 5S, to identify inefficiencies and implement streamlined processes.
  • Develop data management methodologies to streamline operations and enhance data consistency and usability.
  • Drive the streamlining of business process through digitalisation and improvements in the Maintenance Management System (MMS) - IBM Maximo, consistent with Good Industry Practice.
Project Management and Change Initiatives: * Lead complex data analytics initiatives, integrating supply chain analytics, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and maximising employee engagement.
  • Configure, monitor and test solutions, providing appropriate review and approval in accordance with internal / external change assurance frameworks, before changes in Maximo are implemented.
  • Drive the adoption of agile project management methodologies within the supply chain department to improve responsiveness and flexibility.
  • Plan and execute change and improvement projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives.
Communication and Collaboration: * Lead meetings, workshops and engagement events required to support the delivery of effective supply chain management at Keolis-MHI.
  • Effectively communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
  • Closely collaborate and jointly review analytics results with end-users, procurement, and store teams.
  • Plan and deliver training and awareness sessions to stakeholders as part of project delivery.
  • Provide inventory management information to the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai in accordance with the Service Agreement.
General * Meet Key Performance Indicators according to targets agreed with the Engineering Procurement and Supply Chain Manager.
  • Promptly address any non-conformances raised against the department and actively pursue opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with the Keolis-MHI Integrated Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards.
  • Exercise personal duty of care for one\'s own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by their acts or omissions reference SMS GSOP-HSE1-6 Keolis-MHI organisational HSE responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Keolis-MHI and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems and PC literacy skills are essential.
  • General understanding of asset management principles in a maintenance environment.
KEY SKILLS

  • Ability to think laterally and analyse and assess a range of information.

  • Strong project planning and execution skills, ensuring delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Competence with data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc).
  • Experience in complex and multi-criteria demand modelling and forecasting.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office of software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics inventory management.
  • Knowledge of metro system operations and maintenance processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Capacity to interact productively with multiple internal/external stakeholders and their distinct priorities.
  • Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both written and spoken.
EXPERIENCES
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in performance monitoring, analytics or business improvement.
  • Experience using IBM Maximo or other asset management software is preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI and DAX is preferred.
  • Experience applying Lead Six Sigma and Lean Management is preferred.
  • Experience applying project management methodologies (APMP, Prince, Agile, PMP) is preferred.
  • Experience of working in infrastructure maintenance is preferred.
  • Experience in managing change is preferred.
EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Diploma or degree holder in engineering, IT, supply chain or other related discipline. Master\'s degree preferred.
  • A supply chain qualification is preferred, but not essential.
