Job Description

Supply and Demand Planner MENA Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates A Supply and Demand Planner will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting the supply and demand of products (Finished Goods) to ensure that inventory levels are optimized, and customer needs are met. Develop and maintains a robust demand plan at a SKU/customer level combination utilizing data from multiple sources including shipment history and sell thru information. Work cross-functionally with commercial and finance teams to ensure one plan aligned by all parties. Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecasting demand: Use statistical models, historical data, and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts for products or materials.
  • Facilitate the monthly S&OP process including leading cross-functional demand reviews and informing team of latest supply picture, including highlighting major risks.
  • Analyzing inventory levels: Monitor inventory levels and adjust ordering plans as needed to ensure that stock levels are maintained at appropriate levels.
  • Coordination with internal teams: Work closely with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure that demand forecasts are communicated effectively and that supply chain processes are optimized.
  • Supplier management: Work with suppliers to ensure that they are meeting delivery timelines and that inventory levels are being maintained appropriately.
  • Performance analysis: Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for optimization.
  • Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as shortages or delays in product delivery.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on supply and demand trends, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Managing End to End Order to Cash Process.
  • Close cooperation with customer development team, sales team, and other supply chain functions (planning, logistics, customer service & master-data)
  • Work on supply chain projects and deliver end-to-end supply chain improvements for the customer supply chain.
Main Requirements: To excel in this role, candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Candidate should also be familiar with supply chain management software and be comfortable working with large amounts of data. A bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is typically required, and relevant certifications such as APICS or ISM can be beneficial.
