Main Purpose of the Job . Responsible for the provision of food and beverage services to all officers and staff within the Office Complex by liaising with the Assistant Manager Soft Services (Housekeeping) Main Competencies required for the Position · To work within the guidelines set out in the Housekeeping Operational Manual with regard to service, quality assurance, H&S, environment and food hygiene practices. · Must be capable of understanding the requests and prepare accordingly. · Must have knowledge in pantry management, food storage and food safety. Main Duties / Responsibilities · To provide requested beverages required by clients; management, office building residents and for ad hoc meetings. · To provide, on request, all food and beverages required for meetings, conferences including setting up the area for service. · Contribute and promote a safe environment within the buildings and areas for all end-users. · To build positive working relationships with team members to ensure good working environment · To implement improvements in relation to the services provided as required by Assistant Manager Soft Services Housekeeping. · Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order, clean and pest free. · Must follow the Rules and Regulations of the department and ensures the safety of the housekeepers at work. · To attend training sessions as required. · Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of knowledge, skills and abilities as may from time to time be delegated. Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position · Must have high school certificate · Must understand and speak English and have working knowledge of Arabic · Other languages, especially Arabic an advantage. Special Conditions · To wear the required uniform at all times and ensure it is clean and pressed and shoes polished · To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene · To report any misuse of equipment, any maintenance issues with equipment and to help maintain the safety of himself and others in the team · Works co-operatively with customers/stakeholders, maintaining regular, consistent and clear communications. · Knowledge of stock control, inventory and stock handling Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Travel:
