Responsibilities
Effectively supervise and distribute the daily site work Inspect TC and hoist and prepare materials according to the requested specification Conduct site survey and preparation prior to installation Install and commission tower cranes and material hoist according to the required height, load and reach specification Install Tower crane fixing angles and provide technical support regarding TC foundation construction Can read product blueprints and diagrams and follow manufacturer installation and dismantling safety instruction Supervise the preventative maintenance and ensure their completion according to Manufacturers recommendation. Troubleshoot, and perform mechanical fault repairs Perform safely with his team the addition of Mast Sections adding to the tower crane height Preform the installation of tower crane bracings required to stabilize Supervise and perform quality verification of TC & Material Hoist installation and repairs according to manufactures specifications Request and follow up on the required spare parts Maintain and update service and repairs records Maintain and update parts and service repair manuals Motivate mechanics to increase their productivity to meet departmental goals. Perform in house technical training to his team and ensure that they are updated Work according to predetermined technical, quality, and safety standards Responsible for safe, effective, efficient and quality repair work Works closely with superiors to effectively conclude the assigned tasks Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment. Continuous update with the latest Tower Cranes & material hoist technology advancement Team evaluation and provide the required guidance to improve their performance Perform complete safety checks and crane load tests.

Qualifications

Education: Associate of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Technology/ Vocational trade school


Experience: Minimum of 9 years of experience in the field preferably with tower cranes dealership


Fluent in English and preferably Arabic language


PC Skills, can read and interpret engineering drawings


Excellent knowledge in the tower crane Industry


Excellent knowledge of all types of tower cranes & material hoists mechanical and operational
