• Supervise project pipe fabrication/ installation with team, conduct safety and risk assessment.
• Study project requirement and work out man power / material as needed
• Prepare and track project tech and schedule and follow thru with team, advice updates to Manager.
• Communicate with Client / project manager as applicable for inputs and arrange NDT, Hydro testing, flushing as needed.
• Advise improvement in processes and guide team(s) to deliver on time and within given man hours.
• Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
• Take up other non-pipe projects as given by Manager.
• Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.
• Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets
• Liaise with Invoicers / estimators to ensure that department, commercial targets are met.
• Participate in accident investigation, root cause analysis and provide assistance in preparing reports.
• Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department / Section head to ensure compliance with the established standard and procedures.
• Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.

• Diploma in engineering or equivalent.
• AutoCAD.
• At least 6 years of experience as lead Foreman or Supervisor in Marine or New building Yard.
• Well versed and knowledge of piping and associated codes, able to read all type of piping drawings.
• Select and use appropriate fabrication processes and tools for productivity.
• Able to take up non pipe projects.
• Select and use appropriate tools, equipment, materials and machines.
• Apply knowledge of appropriate engineering principles, techniques and procedures.
