to join our dynamic MFC Sea Team. As part of our ongoing expansion, this role will play a key part in overseeing and enhancing our sea freight operations. Key responsibilities include:
Client Relationship Management
Establish and maintain profitable relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure satisfaction, value, and fulfilment of all logistics requirements.
Shipment Coordination & Documentation
Coordinate and monitor sea freight shipments, ensuring timely completion of export/import documentation, tracking, and reporting. Maintain accurate records and internal system updates for audit and operational efficiency.
Team Supervision & Departmental Planning
Supervise and support the Sea Services team, oversee daily activities, resolve escalated issues, and manage departmental planners, reminders, and schedules to ensure smooth operations.
Quotations, Costing & Reporting
Handle freight quotations, costing, and invoicing to ensure accurate billing and profitability. Prepare and analyze trade lines, shipment volumes, revenue, and supplier data; provide regular projections and reports to management
Sales Support & Service Promotion
Prepare and follow up on quotations, rate requests, sales leads, and routing confirmations. Promote company services through cold calling, lead generation, and professional communication, while addressing customer queries and concerns promptly.
Desired candidate profile:
Education:
Essential to have a bachelor's degree
Experience:
5-8 years in Sea Freight Operations and Customer Service.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills in English - verbal and written, A good knowledge of Sea operations, Strong team leadership and supervision skills.
Language Proficiency:
English, Hindi
