The job holder is responsible to perform an all-encompassing role, adjusting, managing and accessing Non-Marine & Energy (Indirect Claims) Claims. This job is also requires to liase with other departments, brokers, stakeholders and policy holders, delivering a high level of service throughout the entire claims process.
Job Responsibilities:
Policies, Processes and procedures:
Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Claims Activities:
Executes the claim strategies as per standard Operating Procedures
Collects the requisite claim information and documentation from the clients/brokers.
Interacts with clients/brokers to arrange the missing documents or information.
Interviews claimant and witnesses to gather pertinent information.
Builds a claim file in accordance with the standard operating procedures
Enters/Updates claims information into claims management system.
Investigates and processes insurance claims filed by policyholders.
Handles and process variety of claims, including Property, Financial Lines, Engineering & Liabilities Claims
Handles property claims involving damages to buildings and structures, or liability claims involving personal injuries or third-person property damages from liability situations, such as accidents, slip and falls, etc.
Inspects property damages to determine extent of damages (if required)
Consults police and hospital records.
Consults with accountants, architects, construction workers, engineers, lawyers, and physicians to get expert evaluation.
Examines photographs and statements.
Listens to or watch audio or video surveillance.
Records data and statements in report.
Evaluates the survey report and challenge the assessment
Evaluates all information to determine how claim should be handled.
Analyses and applies policy coverage accurately to all assigned claims.
Works with attorneys to defend insurer\'s position if claim is contested.
Negotiates and settles claims proactively in accordance with Company guidelines and best practices.
Evaluates damages to ascertain compensation amount.
Reserves claims accurately in accordance with Company guidelines and best practices.
Confirms coverage and recognize coverage issues. Resolves complex issues and refer any issues as necessary
Customer Satisfaction:
Ensures to meet the customer service standards and address all claim related queries and increase the customer satisfaction.
Skills
Skills:
Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree.
Insurance Certification \xe2\x80\x93not Mandatory could be an advantage.
4 to 6 years of relevant LOB experience.
Full Professional Proficiency in English language mandatory.
Proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage but not mandatory.
