Supervise and perform maintenance of electrical equipment in the plant to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and integrity. Job Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning and Execution Ensure availability of resources for electrical maintenance and schedule to complete jobs safely and on time. Plan, schedule, execute, and supervise preventive and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting. Inspect tasks, follow up on progress, and report to ensure quality and timely completion. Provide technical support, prepare scope of work, manage contracts, and participate in negotiations. Contribute to preparation of maintenance procedures and risk assessments, investigate failures, and suggest controls. Maintain maintenance records, fault reports, and update equipment databases. Authorize issuance of electrical isolation certificates and work permits. Conduct safety toolbox talks and supervise testing and commissioning of equipment. Participate in shutdown and major overhaul activities. Materials Control Monitor tools, equipment, and parts availability. Prepare spares, tools, and materials requisitions; inspect new materials. Supervision Plan, supervise, and coordinate activities to meet objectives. Train and develop staff on relevant skills. Budgets Assist in budget preparation and monitor variances. Policies, Systems, and Procedures Implement policies and procedures in line with standards. Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations. Performance Management Contribute to achieving department objectives. Innovation and Improvement Implement tools and techniques for process improvement. Identify process improvements aligned with ISO standards. HSE and Sustainability Comply with HSE policies and sustainability guidelines. Reporting Provide inputs for MIS and progress reports. Minimum Qualifications
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including budget management and supervision. Certifications & Work Conditions
Relevant professional certifications as applicable. Physical effort minimal. Work environment includes A/C and site visits with weather exposure. #J-18808-Ljbffr
