The Supervisor oversees the daily operations of an automotive service center or car care facility. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, efficient workflow, and customer satisfaction. The supervisor manages a team of technicians and support staff, coordinates service schedules, monitors inventory, enforces safety standards, and ensures compliance with company policies and automotive regulations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with leadership and customer service skills to maintain high performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision & Leadership
Oversee daily activities of technicians and service staff.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity.
Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Customer Service
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Address customer concerns and resolve complaints efficiently.
Communicate clearly about services, repairs, timelines, and costs.
Operations Management
Manage service schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency.
Ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
Monitor quality control standards to maintain service excellence.
Inventory & Equipment Oversight
Monitor and maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and safe to use.
Health & Safety Compliance
Enforce workplace safety regulations and procedures.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure a clean, safe work environment.
Report and address any hazards or incidents promptly.
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate records of services, work orders, and employee hours.
Prepare reports on productivity, service issues, and performance metrics.
Assist in budgeting and cost control efforts.
Technical Support
Provide hands-on support for complex diagnostics or repair work.
Stay updated with latest automotive technologies and best practices.
Support technicians in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Qualifications - Car Care SupervisorEducation:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant supervisory or management training is an advantage.
Experience:
Experience in automotive repair, maintenance, or car care services.
Experience in a supervisory or team lead role in UAE (preferred).
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and diagnostics.
Familiarity with car detailing, maintenance schedules, repair procedures, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service documents.
Leadership & Management Skills:
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
Strong decision-making, time management, and conflict resolution skills.
Capable of training and evaluating staff performance.
Customer Service Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and customer-focused mindset.
