Job Summary: Looking for a Supermarket Cashier in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

Welcome customers in a courteous and friendly manner as they approach the checkout counter
Scan and accurately process items purchased by customers, ensuring correct prices and quantities
Accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments, while adhering to established procedures
Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance with locating products or resolving any issues that arise during the checkout process
Maintain a neat and organized checkout area
Follow cash handling and loss prevention procedures to minimize errors and prevent theft

Job Qualifications and Experience

The applicant must have practical experience working as a cashier in a retail business or supermarket
Must have basic PC knowledge
Excellent cash handling skills
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate transaction processing
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional way
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining regular attendance
